Material Management provides support for logistics, coordination and commercial activities of Pharma Galena Division. It is composed of the following sections:

Production Planning
Purchasing
Warehousing
New Products Introduction
Packaging Material Preparation
Customer Service for Middle and Eastern Europe
Customer Service for the USA, EU, other markets and contract manufacturing.

The department plans production of more than 1000 articles and buys more than 3500 items for direct operating consumption. The capacity of the department warehouses is 13 500 pallet positions. Primary and secondary packages are delivered on a JIT (just-in time) basis. The sales volume is about USD 200 million per year, of which 75% is for export.
