The Research and Development department deals mainly with:
- Methods of active substances separation
- Methods of active substances synthesis
- Analytic methods and their validation
- Looking for new polymorphs and their characteristics.
An entirely new activity for TAPI Galena is the development of high active pharmaceutical ingredients (HAPI). The key results are patented and new procedures are verified under laboratory and pilot production conditions. The research and development personnel also cooperate with production technologists in optimization of production processes and they prepare documents for the registration of the substances (DMF, CEP).
